Objective:To investigate the relationship between antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies(ANCA)and systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE).Methods:The clinical and laboratory information of100SLE patients, including50active patients and50inactive patients, were collected; indirect immunofluorescence (IIF) was conducted to detect ANCA; ELISA was conducted to detect MPO and PR3in ANCA positive samples; we compared the posithe rate of ANCA and the relationship between ANCA and clinical manifestions (including laboratory indexes) among different groups(including active group、inactive group and the control group;LN group、non-LN group and the control group);in addition, the serum concentration of ANCA between before and after the treatment of ANCA positive active group was compared。Results:①As detected by IIF technique, the positive rate of ANCA in active group was higher than that in inactive group and the control group, there were significant differences among the three groups (P<0.001);②There was significant difference in clinical manifestations between the group of positive ANCA and the group of negative(P<0.01);③There was significant difference between the3groups of exceeding0.5g/d of urinary protein in24hours, patients with positive anti-ds-DNA, and patients with hypocomplementemia(P<0.05); ④the positive rate of ANCA in lupus nephritis group was higher than that in non-lupus nephritis group and the control group;⑤Significant difference was found in chnical manifestations between the group of positive ANCA and the group of negative in LN(P<0.05);⑥In comparison to ESR elevation, anti-ds-DNA positive, and the hypocomplementemia, the group of positive ANCA in LN is higher than the group of negative(P<0.05);⑦Statistically significant difference Of MPO-ANCA positive rate was found to exist between lupus nephritis and non-lupus nephritis group (P<0.001).⑧We found statistically significant difference exist between the serum concentration of ANCA before and after the treatment of ANCA positive active group(P<0.001).Conclusion:The correlation between ANCA and the activity of SLE may be a useful indicator of the relapse and remit of SLE; ANCA may be the landmark antibody of LN which could show if the disease has already affected kidney and the progress of LN.ANCA may be a vital indicator of the incidence and prognosis of LN; there may be a close relationship between MPO-ANCA and lupus nephritis。...
