Clinical Observation Of Shenfu In Elder Patients With Chronic Heart Failure

Objective:In this study, the patients with heart failure were divided into threegroups.The first group used the conventional treatment, the second group used Shenfu50ml based on conventional treatment, the thrid group used Shenfu80ml based on theconventional treatment.We compared with changes of cardiac function before andafter treatment in three groups,and observed three groups of biochemical,changes ofNt-proBNP and cardiac function indexes in order to evaluate the clinical efficacy andsafety of Shenfu injectionMethod:The study collected patients,diagnosed as CHF patients,TCM syndrometyping for heart patients with kidney yang deficiency syndrome,who stayed.inShanghai TCM-intergrated Hospital during the period from March2012to October2013.The117patients meeting inclusion criteria of chronic heart failure patients wererandomly divided into control group, Shenfu50ml group and Shenfu group80ml.Thegeneral treatment of three groups was same.Shenfu group50ml and Shenfu80mlcombined with Shenfu injection treatment.Three groups were observed the relevantbiochemical index after14days.Results:Shenfu treatment groups and routine treatment group improved cardiacfunction in varying degrees before and after treatment.Shenfu treatment group inreducing ET-1,Nt-proBNP level and the Lee scoring system compared withconventional drug treatment had a significant difference (P<0.05).Shenfu injectionbetween the two groups showed that there were no significant differences decreaseET-1, Nt-proBNP level and the reduction of Lee scoring system (P>0.05)..Shenfutreatment group in improving SV and EF compared with the control group there weresignificant differences (P <0.05).Two groups of Shenfu treatment groups were alsosuggested that there are no significant differences (P>0.05).The effective rate oftreatment group was52.78%, the effective rate of Shenfu group50ml treatment was71.05%, the effective rate of Shenfu group80ml treatment was89.47%, and in Shenfutreatment group compared to conventional therapy group were significantly different(P <0.05).Conclusions:The treatment of chronic heart failure with Shenfu has better clinicalefficacy, and it has no significant adverse reactions.
