| Objective:This study was designed to evaluate the clinical efficacy of the eye-acupuncture on ocular muscles as a main point treatment on eye movement disorders caused by orbital blowout fracture, and provide safer and more effective rehabilitation methods. Methods:Using the method of randomized controlled and single-blind,60patients who were diagnosed as eye movement disorders caused by orbital blowout fracture were randomly divided into two groups:acupuncture plus conventional treatment group (the treatment group) and the conventional treatment group (the control group), the treatment group:according to the type to select the corresponding extraocular muscle holes, we gave the method of eye-acupuncture for30minutes and once everyday, both with15days for a course of treatment. while giving conventional drug therapy; the control group were treated with conventional therapy. After two courses, compared the eye movement disorder level changes and the limbus range of movement of the two groups before and after treatment, we evaluated the efficacy based on efficacy standard, and using SPSS17.0software for statistical analysis.Results:1We collected the limbus range of movement respectively before and after treatment, we compared them within the group, both group had statistically significant (P <0.05); Comparing between the two groups after treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).2We made assessment on eye movement disorder levels before and after treatment, and did the statistical analysis after treatment, the differences had statistically significant (P<0.05).3We evaluated the efficacy between two groups after treatment, the efficiency was83.33%and56.67%respectively, and the cure rates were36.37%and13.33%, the differences had statistically significant (P <0.05).Conclusion: 1Acupuncture could improve the movement range of the limbus and eye movement disorder levels significantly, and promoted the recovery of extraocular muscles function.2Acupuncture had a significant effect treatment on the disease, and had a high rate of efficiency and recovery, better than conventional drug therapy significantly. |
