Nowadays, the problem how to deal with the shortage of nurses are faced by thehospitals which is a common problem for the hospitals. According to statistics, theshortage of global nursing is very urgent. The shortage of nurses is very obvious,especially In China, because the drain of nurses is more and more seriousand the rateof nurse turnover is becoming more and more higher. As can be seen from the above,the loss of nursing care has become an urgent problem for managers to solve.In this paper, in order to offer good suggestions to the manager of the hospitaland to improve the level and ability of to manage the hospital staff nurses, thesituation of nurses leaving in Fengtai hospital during2010-2012were investigated byquestionnaire, and the specific reasons of the leaving of nurses in hospital is alsoresearched. In the process of designing questionnaire, the basics information andspecific reasons for nurses’ leaving can be very accurately and comprehensivelyunderstood because this paper takes gender, age, title, and the reasons for leaving intoaccount. After mastering the above information by questionnaire, methods such asdescriptive analysis, Logistic regression and other methods are also used in this paperto analyze the data, and then identify the main factors of nurse personnel leaving.Through the above analysis we can draw the following several conclusions:(i), duringthe period of2010to2012, Beijing Fengtai Hospital nursing the leaving rate of staffis increasing year by year;(ii), the leaving rate of older nurses is less than that of theyounger nurses;(iii), the leaving rate of nurses aged is less than that of the shortertime of the nursing;(iv), the leaving rate of scheduling nurse is less than that of thecontract nurses;(v), the higher the education of nurses is, the higher the leaving rate is;(vi) taking care of their parents, the couple separated, obtain career series andadmitted students for further study are among the main reason for nurses leaving.
