Objective: To investigate the estimated value of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) after Transcatheter Arterial Chemoembolization (TACE) bycontrast-enhanced ultrasonography (CEUS), and compare it withcontrast-enhanced CT (CECT).Methods: Among187Hepatocellular carcinoma patients who receivedTACE therapy within one month. CEUS and CECT check were adopted for252focuses of infection, estimated value of these three modalities were calculatedand compared with each other.Results:(1) Tumors residue were detected in153and no tumors residuewere detected in86of the252focuses of infection on CEUS;while tumorsresidue were detected in119and no tumors residue were detected in91of the252focuses of infection on CECT. The detectability to the detection rate of lesion of CEUS was superior to CECT (P<0.05).(2) The combination with CEUS and CECT can improves the diagnosticaccuracy and the positive rate of the tumor residue of hepatocellular carcinomaafter TACE.(3) The accuracy is92.5%for CEUS,78.6%for CECT and98.4%for Thecombination with them compared with clinic.Conclusions:(1) CEUS is an technology with strong repeatability, flexiblity and no radiation, which can be used to identify lesion’s locationaccurately. In addition, CEUS provides important information and evidence forplanning treatment programs of HCC. So, CEUS has great value in theassessment of HCCs after Transcatheter Arterial Chemoembolization.(2) The diagnostic value of CEUS and CECT in HCC lesion afterTranscatheter Arterial Chemoembolization is comparably satisfying.(3) The combination with CEUS and CECT can improves the diagnosticaccuracy and reduce the rate of misdiagnosis of HCCs after TranscatheterArterial Chemoembolization. |
