In June4th, Guangxi CDCpromptly organized expert team to conduct the survey after they received theepidemic outbreak report. The experts discovered that the outbreak spread scopewas limited to school students, not involving the faculty. we tested the faucetpipe water of the school,we can not discovered Shigellas in the water, andthen, the water quality met the national drinking water standard. After screeningall the possible routes transmission and interviewing some patients, we can notexclude the chance of water transmission. Because the outcome may be causedby that the middle school had school self-provided water source for thedisinfection after the outbreak,(the water was discovered carbon dioxide whichsuggested the water had been disinfected). And then according to the time, thequantity and the scope of water supply before the epidemic outbreak that theschool provided, which did not totally match the reality. Results from the testing of feces or anal swab specimens showedthe volunteers hayes bacteria positive, thus confirming the outbreaks of bacterial dysentery. |
