Objective:To explore the value of cerebrospinal fluid Aβ and tau indiagnosis of mild cognitive impairment due to Alzheimer’s disease. Methods:All subjects were recruited from neurology ward andclinic, first affiliated hospital of Guangxi medical university fromDecember2012to October2013.The cerebrospinal fluid Aβ42, T-tau andP-tau protein were determined using Enzyme-linked immunosorbentassay in52mild cognitive impairment patients due to AD and36normalmental state group. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS16.0.Results: The cerebrospinal fluid Aβ42content of the two groupswere644.26±158.49、921.55±171.28pg/ml(P<0.05). The cerebrospinalfluid T-tau content of the two groups were645.86±162.47,432.82±123.25pg/ml(P<0.05). The cerebrospinal fluid P-tau content ofthe two groups were513.13±150.02、321.90±105.06pg/ml(P<0.05).Using ROC curves: The accuracy of cerebrospinal fluid Aβ42is88.0%,the sensitivity was81.5%and the specificity is79.6%. The accuracy ofcerebrospinal fluid T-tau is82.3%,the sensitivity is79.8%and the specificity was76.5%. The accuracy of cerebrospinal fluid P-tau is86.7%,the sensitivity was81.6%and the specificity is79.4%. Theaccuracy of cerebrospinal fluid T-tau+P-tau is88.6%,the sensitivity was83.4%and the specificity is82.7%. The accuracy of cerebrospinal fluidT-tau+Aβ42is90.8%,the sensitivity was88.3%and the specificity is86.9%. The accuracy of cerebrospinal fluid P-tau+Aβ42is92.3%,thesensitivity was90.7%and the specificity is88.7%. The accuracy ofcerebrospinal fluid T-tau+P-tau+Aβ42is97.8%,the sensitivity was95.7%and the specificity is93.5%.Conclusion:1.The cerebrospinal fluid Aβ and Tau protein in MCIpatients were higher than those in healthy controls.2.Compared withsingle test, combined tests have higher accuracy for diagnosing MCI.
