Purpose:Based on the2007-2011analysis of monitoring results of syphilis huangdao district, Qingdao city, to explore the epidemiological trends and the significance and measures of the prevention and control of syphilis.By comparing several syphilis laboratory testing methods, selection of high sensitivity and specificity of detection of syphilis laboratory methods which would be helpful to the early diagnosis and treatment of syphilis.Methods1.Collection of Qingdao huangdao district dimethyl hospital in2007-2007syphilis patients with confirmed above798cases used for epidemiological analysis, general information of all patients with syphilis were retrospectively analyzed, syphilis diagnosis according to the ministry of health, health and epidemic prevention department to write about STD prevention handbook syphilis diagnosis standard.2.From the cases of121cases (50cases) with71cases positive and the negative using four different laboratory testing methods and testing, including syphilis rapid plasma reagin test (RPR) detection of treponema pallidum nonspecific antibody, enzyme-linked immunoassay (ELISA) and treponema pallidum gelatin particle agglutination (TPPA) specificity of detection of treponema pallidum antibody, specificity of PCR method for detection of treponema pallidum DNA, laboratory testing methods with TPPA method as the reference standard to calculate various positive rate, sensitivity and specificity of detection results, negative predictive value, positive predictive value, etc.3.Another collection from our hospital between January2012and July2012, between the inpatient and outpatient patients serum samples of206cases of unknown, adopt the method for testing. Results 1.Epidemiological investigation and analysis results show that the huangdao district, syphilis has become a monitored the fastest growing in the eight kinds of venereal diseases, five years, the cumulative number of cases of798cases, the average annual growth rate of47.97%, the incidence in2007from thousands of1.68/10to1.68/10of the2011, the average growth rate of50.25%.Each stage:five years syphilis has a report, a phase of the disease were higher than in second phase, the second phase of higher than that of recessive syphilis, syphilis and latent syphilis is increasing trend, the overall situation is early syphilis accounted for the vast number of tertiary syphilis and fetal syphilis are relatively rare.2.Laboratory testing methods:in addition to the TPPA method as a standard laboratory testing method to diagnose syphilis, TP-ELISA method in detecting sensitivity and specificity of syphilis were higher than other test methods.RPR method while the operation is simple, but the sensitivity and specificity and TPPA method have obvious difference, and the results are false positives and false negatives, easily lead to wrong.PCR method and TPPA method comparison there was no significant difference, but the operation is relatively complex, and exist in the second stage syphilis false-negative results, can be used as a powerful supplement of syphilis detection.Conclusion1.Qingdao huangdao district syphilis cases the rapidly rising trend overall, average annual incidence of50.6/10.2.In terms of syphilis laboratory tests, the sensitivity and specificity of ELISA was high, combined with its simple operation, can be automated, the advantages of low cost, can be used in the hospital laboratory screening a detection method in great quantities, but in combination with the advantages and disadvantages of other experiments, for syphilis diagnosis I think should be the TP-ELISA, RPR and TPPA sanlian detection method to help clinical diagnosis, staging and judge the curative effect.
