| OBJECTIVE To investigate the culture of Mycoplasma causing urogenital tract infections and drug resistance so as to provide evidence for proper antibiotics choice.METHODS The results of Ureaplasma urealyticmticm(Uu) and Mycoplasma hominis(Mh) cultivation and susceptibility testing that were performed in1236outpatient patients suspected with urogenital tract mycoplasma infection from Jan2010to Dec2012were analyzed.RESULTS The positive rate of Mycoplasma culture was25.57%(316/1236),therein19.82%,0.81%and4.94%for Uu,Mh and Uu+Mh respectively. The positive rate of Uu in female patients was27.05%,which was significantly higher than that of male patients(7.46%),and a higher culture rate of Uu+Mh was also observed in female patients than in male patients(6.54%vs2.19%)(P<0.05). Uu showed high resistance rates to ofloxacin(26.53%),roxithromycin(17.96%) and sparfloxacin(15.92%),Uu+Mh was sensitive only to doxycycline and minocycline. Antibiotic resistance of Mycoplasma varied during the3years, therein the resistance rates of Uu decreased in2011and2012than that in2010,while the resistance of Uu+Mh showed an upward trend.CONCLUSION Mycoplasma infections of urogenital tract happens at a higher rate in women than in men.lt is necessary to carry out Mycoplasma culture and drug susceptibility test and reasonably use antibiotics on the basis of drug sensitivity. |
