| Objective:To investigate the effect of medical pelvic floor muscles massager in the treatment of category chronic prostatitis or chronic pelvic pain syndrome.Methods:sixty cases of CP/CPPS who was in coincidence with newNIH consensus definition and classification of prostatitis,were treated withmedical pelvic floor muscles massager.medical pelvic floor muscles massager was used for30minutes per section,and one sections per day.10treatment sessions per patients, The course of treatment is one month.After the course ended,all patients were followed up at7th day. The NIH chronic prostatitis symptom index score and as PS,USS,QLS, maximum flowrate(Qmas)were compared before and after treatment.Results:The NIH-CPSI were PS12.42±2.03ã€USS7.31±2.17〠QLS8.32±1.28ã€maximum flow rate(Qmas)10.40±2.36beforetreatment;PS8.25±1.11ã€USS6.20±1.33ã€QLS7.05±1.26ã€maximum flowrate(Qmas)13.80±3.72after treatment.In the group,the differences inpain,urination,life impact of NIH-CPSI,maximum flow rate (Qmas)betweenpre-and post treatment were significant(P <0.05),Conclusions: medical pelvic floor muscles massager is a safe and effective way in the treatment of CP/CPPS.The short-term effect of medicalpelvic floor muscles massager for CP/CPPS is satisfactory..... |
