Objective:To develop a Knowledge-Attitude-Practice (KAP) scale of Pelvic floor functional disorder for women during pregnancy. To evaluate the pregnant women’s KAP status of cognition, attitude, behavior, on Pelvic floor functional disorder. By analyzing those influence factors, providing a scientific, quantitative Evaluation tool for preventive health education and development effective functional exercise method on this disease, thereby, improving pregnancy women’s cognition and elevating self-management on the pelvic floor functional.Method:The development of the KAP scale of Pelvic floor functional disorder was based on the frame work of KAP theory and Health Belief Model, combining the compilation step of cognitive domain. With convenience sampling method,230outpatient pregnant women in a top three hospitals of Jinan city as the research object. Three methods were used in item analyzing, such as describe the data analysis, binary reliability analysis and exploratory factor analysis, to detect the reliability and validity of the scale. And convenience sampling500pregnant women, which in clinic Obstetric examination, of a first-class hospital of Shandong Province, and using the general demographic information questionnaire and pelvic floor functional KAP scale written by our own, to conduct the Questionnaire survey. Thereby, further study the knowledge, belief, situation of pregnant women on the pelvic floor functional disorder disease. Results:Through literature search and expert consultation the initial KAP scale of pelvic floor functional disorder, which including45items dividing into three subscales of Knowledge, Attitude, Behavior scale was developed..230women have been surveyed in the preliminary questionnaire which valid questionnaires are220and qualified rate of questionnaires are95.7%.The coefficient between items and the total score is0.908, had statistically significant (P<0.05). Delete the related coefficient of <0.3items, scale after deleting entries for?Reliability test:The Cronbach’s a coefficients for the scale were0.908, and between0.851and0.878, respectively.Validity test:exploratory factor analysis, according to the results of KMO is0.88, Balltler spherical inspection result is4627.006, exploratory factor analysis eutectoid out six common factor,65.8%cumulative contributionApplication of a large sample survey500questionnaires were distributed and returned476valid questionnaires, effective rate95.2%. The results showed that the total scale internal consistency a coefficient is0.753, three subscales were0.947,0.736, and0.706, respectively. Survey results show that pregnant women surveyed knew pelvic floor dysfunction, can tell the main symptoms (31.8%), know a common cause of pelvic floor functional disorder (41.4%) and feel in the future there will have pelvic floor dysfunction (78.2%), relatives or friends have an impact on its pelvic floor dysfunction (80.45%), interested in pelvic floor exercise knowledge (95.5%), pelvic floor functional related of exercise will account for93.2%, insist to do pelvic floor muscles of exercisers with only2.1%n late pregnancy, insist to do postpartum pelvic floor functional training accounted for18.2%. Person-related concluded that there is a correlation (P<0.05) between the scores of knowledge, beliefs KAP score and score as age, education level, body mass index and pelvic floor dysfunction diseases.ConclusionThis study completed the initial preparation of pelvic floor dysfunction KAP scale, and the scale homogeneity reliability, split-half reliability and content validity, construct validity and discriminant validity is better prepared in compliance with the basic requirements of scaling.By application of the scale, found in pregnant women, the understood of the pelvic floor dysfunction was positively correlated with the age and body mass index. The greater the age, the higher the BMI, the higher the education level, the more relevant knowledge to understand, the stronger adherence With increasing gestational age, pregnant women are increasingly interested in understanding the relevant knowledge.
