Objective:to pathology results as the reference, using Siemens3.0T magnetic resonance including conventional sequence scanning, magnetic resonance3D1H spectroscopy in patients with prostatic central gland disease (MRS) and diffusion weighted imaging (DWI) and MRI examination, analysis of prostatic central gland carcinoma (PCa) and the central gland hyperplasia (BPH) of nodules of3D1H spectral characteristics and differences of ADC value, high strength3D1H MR spectroscopy (MRS) and diffusion weighted imaging (DWI) in detecting value of prostatic central gland cancer.Materials and methods:55patients of prostatic central gland disease in3.0T magnetic resonance instrument uplink prostate MRI examination, including prostate routine MRI sequence,3D1H spectroscopy and diffusion weighted (DWI) scan, all cases were confirmed by operation or rectal biopsy,15cases of prostate cancer (PCa),40cases of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).Image data obtained by the6partition method to partition the measurement of prostate,15cases of PCa in the central gland67partitions for cancer, according to biopsy position is arranged on the corresponding position in central gland region of interest, to measure the CC/C value and ADC value.Analysis of prostatic central gland carcinoma (PCa) and the central gland hyperplasia (BPH)3D1H spectroscopy nodule characteristics and different ADC value, spectrum using workstation Spetroscopy software,, all results were expressed in the form of±s; the CC/C value and ADC value were analyzed by using SPSS11.0 software, and compared between the two groups the (choline+creatine)/citrate (CC/C) and apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) value, t test was used for comparisons between groups, P<0.05considered statistically significant. Results:PCa group and BPH group, the CC/C values were2.93±1.77and0.67±0.39, a significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05).PCa group and BPH group, the ADC values were (0.71±0.32)×10-3mm2/S-1and (1.21±0.26)×103mm2·s-1, cancer ADC value than cancer area decreased significantly, the difference between the two groups of ADC value also had statistical significance (P<0.05).But the PCa group and BPH group between ADC value and overlap. Conclusion:using the3.0T high field magnetic resonance in the present study, by adding MR spectroscopy and DWI scan function imaging examination, examination time were compared with conventional MRI examination is prolonged, but in most cases, characteristics of ADC and the prostate metabolites change value have obvious difference in the central gland carcinoma, the combination of the two is important the value in the diagnosis of prostatic central gland cancer.
