| Myomas of uterus are the most common tumors of women in the child-bearingperiod, and the most common cause of hysterectomy. Regardless of their generallybenign neoplastic character, the majority of patients demonstrate clinically significantsymptoms, including abnormal uterine bleeding,secondary anaemia, sensations ofpressure in the pelvis,pain,and reproductive disability, etc. Their prevalence hasseverely affected women’s healthy conditions.Therefore,it is the priority for us toenforce the research on the mechanisms of pathogenesis and treatment of uterineleiomyomas.Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has been considered to possess remarkablytherapeutic effects, little side effects, and less recurrence rate. side effects, and lessrecurrence rate. We attempte to establish uterine leiomyomas models in rats byloading estrogen and progesterone. Under the help of the stable animal models andrelated techniques, we observed the therapeutic effects of Xiaoliu granule(XLG)andits pharmacological mechanisms on experimental uterine leiomyomas in rats, underthe hope of revealing a better interpretation of TCM’s effects on the disease.Objective This topic was intend to prove the influence of Xiaoliu granule tomyoma of uterus, and to study the mechanism of curative effect about Xiaoliugranule.Method By experiment study, we observe the affect of Xiaoliu granule to therat of myoma of uterus pathological model on the uterus modulusã€blood viscosityã€growth of smooth muscle and Bcl-2/Bax. In clinical study,35 patients with myoma ofuterus were selected to be treated with Xiaoliu granule and to be observed the changeof clinical signs after treatment.Results The experiment study indicates that Xiaoliu granule can not changethe uterus modulus of rats of myoma of uterus pathological model,but can decreasethe number of blood viscosity, can restrain growth of smooth muscle,can decreasecan decrease the number of Bcl-2 and can increase the number of Bax.The clinicalstudy indicates Xiaoliu granule can decrease the score of symptom(total effective rate74.3ï¼…),myoma of uterus (total effective rate 14.3ï¼…)and general Treatment(totaleffective rate 77.1ï¼…).Conclusion Xiaoliu granule was proved efficient in healing myoma of uterus.the mechanism is decrease the number of blood viscosity, restrain growth of smoothmuscle ,decrease the number of Bcl-2 and increase the number of Bax. |
