Movie is a mirror of the folk customs, and rich and colorful folk-custom elementsgives movie more real, natural and social sense. Movies assuming the function for folkcustoms in images recording, make the non-material culture circulating as the main wayof word of mouth preserved and spread for another form.Throughout China film history,folk customs elements can be found presents different characteristics in differentperiods:in the20s and30s of the20th century mainly absorbing and introduction, andInheritance record in the40s and50s, and in the60s and70s showing closed ideology,and new folk-custom film in line with international standards in nineties.The newgeneration of director in folk elements in the transformation of society as the theme,created the independent film period, Chinese movies are fast to join already irreversibleworld pattern.Folk-custom from all over the world are mostly in the different geographical andhistorical environment gradually accumulated generated, typicality, intuitive, peculiarityand uniqueness are the main characteristics of the folk custom, and they are brighthighlight national or ethnic differences.Chinese film should not only comply with the request of the ages to keep pace withthe material life of people increasing day by day, but also comply with the world trendof intercultural communication,become a valid window to introduce the culture of theChinese nation to the world。Along with the economic globalization, a social culturalexchange of the popularization and the homogeneity of consumer culture appear,folk-custom elements presents the coexistence of a variety of forms and diversifieddevelopment trend obviously. Folk-custom elements which have unique role andsignificance of the nature of the national culture is not only to win the people ofdifferent cultural background understanding and identity the Chinese national cultureand spirit.This article selects some works folk-custom elements accounting a large part inaudio-visual film structure,for combing,induction and integration.According to thefolk-custom elements performance way, it can be divided into tangible folk (hard folk)and intangible folk (soft folk) soft,finishing analysis respectively. According to theproperties of the film, from the picture and sound, focus on analyzing the function of thefolk elements in the movie take and the role played by, in terms of the aspects of narrative, modelling and ideographic respectively.Combined with aesthetic values offolk-custom elements in the film, from opera, folk art of the reference and fusion, sumsup the relationship of the folk and national cultural consciousness, to find out thelimitation of the folk-custom elements in narrative, for the development of film folkelements in the context of globalization trend, provide a reference sample and rationalexperience, reference for constructing Chinese movie folklore.
