Research On Yan Ping’s Oil Painting Creation

Yan Ping is one of the outstanding and representing Chinese contemporary female painters. Most of her works reflect what she sees and feels in her life. Oil painting is mainly created by means of shape and color. Undoubtedly, relevant creation is the exploration and analysis of the painting language. As a contemporary oil painter, she acts more deeply in this aspect and her paintings are actually intrinsic combination of shape, color, and brush.Starting from her creation experience, comprehensive research has been made through this paper, focusing on her oil paintings and origin of her styles. Through observation of the changes and development of her creative themes and concepts, analysis of the changes and uniqueness of her paintings language has been implemented and the artistic features of her oil paintings as well as relevant influence upon contemporary Chinese oil painting has been brought out.Her paintings not only absorb many western creation expertise and techniques but also ingeniously harmonizes essence from oriental art. Based on the research of Yan Ping’s rational paintings, This paper is to excavate and reorganize perceptual components and local factors in her oil painting creation in order to further improve the study and research on her works.
