On The Achievement, Problems And Countermeasures Of "Rural Bookyard":a Case In Fuqing City,Fujian Province

Located along the prominent southeast coast of Fujian Province, Longgao peninsula of Fu Qing County has a population of about600,000people and an area of more than400square kilometers. In the history, Longgao peninsula covers all of LongTian Town, JiangJing Town, GangTou Town, SanShan Town, GaoShan Town, DongHan Town, ShaPu Town and some of HaiKou Town. What is more, because it is centered on LongTian Town and GaoShan Town, so it is called Longgao peninsula. Nowadays, Longgao peninsula has developed economic and enormous private capital, and is a famous homeland of overseas Chinese. Longgao peninsula still plays an important part for the FuQing County. The people, who come from Longgao peninsula, have a capacity of arduous endeavor and cover all home and abroad. In all times, Longgao peninsula have nourished many people of ability, who are brave but cautious, remarkably hardy, united and upward, and have an ardent love for life and an passion of creation, so they show unique cultural personality of the special territory and group. Based on the geographic environment, historic tradition, immigration culture, and so forth, the article analyzes the cultural personality. What is more, the article focuses on the research of immigration phenomenon and immigration culture of Longgao peninsula to show the public’s mental attitude.The article is divided into four sections:the1st section is the prolegomenon, which illustrates the importance of the research of the theme, the study background, and the research method etc; the2nd section shows how the geographic environment affects the regional culture, by introducing and analyzing the geographic environment and the traditional culture; the3rd section is about immigrant culture.
