Research On Yong Rub Multiple-voice Music Style And Techniques

Yong Rub is a famous Mongolia composer. He combines the most excellent Mongolia melody with western modern techniques of composition in his music. He also combines ethnic musical instruments with symphony. All of these become the most obviously unique characteristic of Yong Rub music. On the analysis of a large amount of Yong Rub musical compositions, this paper revealed his innovation in traditional multiple-voice techniques, such as non-three degrees superimposed chord, various parallel motion and polytonality. On the contrast with western music style, this paper uncovered the style characteristics and cultural connotation of Yong Rub musical compositions.Yong Rub musical techniques of multiple-voice were mainly discussed in this paper, which can be divided into five parts. The first part briefed the artistic career and achievements of Yong Rub. The second and the third parts researched individually on the vertical and horizontal structural characteristics of Yong Rub multiple-voice music. The thinking of tonal change was discussed in the forth part. And the last part elaborated the formation and aesthetic of the musical idea in Yong Rub multiple-voice.
