Research On Ulaanhu’s Ethnic Religion View

Tibetan Buddhism was introduced to Inner Mongolia in the13th century, and after several hundred years of development, up till the early20th century, has had a profound impact on Mongolian society, politics, economy, culture and other aspects. During the process of his leading of Inner Mongolia national autonomy and the socialist reform and construction, Ulaanhu correctly understood and accurately grasped the Mongolian ethnic characteristics of religious beliefs, combined with Marx’s religion theory, based on dialectical materialism and historical materialism world outlook and methodology as the guide, creatively implemented the Chinese Communist Party’s religious policy, put forward the historical materialism national religion,actively guided the Tibetan Buddhism to adapt to the social and national development in Inner Mongolia, became the model of the Chinese Communist Party for successfully resolving the ethnic religion problems. This thesis summarizes Ulaanhu’s national religion view, sums up the reform and management practice of Tibetan Buddhism, objectively evaluates the historical significance and practice of Ulaanhu’s ethnic religion view and the practical work. The thesis tries to achieve the innovation of the systematic research on Ulaanhu’s ethnic religion view and the ethnic religion practical work and its historical significance.
