For easier communication among each other, people began to seek for a kind of language that can be used in network to realize more information interchanging among the users of internet in a short period of time. In this way, a new type of language in the field of internet emerged and was named as netspeak. Different from the traditional language, netspeak can be viewed as a by-product of the internet development; it refers to the phenomenon and the specific words or expressions used by the internet users. As its most dominant feature, vocabulary forms the main domain of netspeak, which is also the most active and productive part of netspeak. Whilst English as the most widely used language over the world made a great contribution to the formation of English netspeak, so that internet users nowadays can communicate and exchange various ideas with each other in a much easier way. And the language itself was pushed onto a wider scale for the colorful and productive vocabularies. At the same time with the rapid development of English netspeak, the emerging and replicating of memtics in different fields of subjects, with linguistics as one of them. The main body of memetics is meme, it is the basic unit of the culture transmission, which refers not only to the ideas or thoughts of the individuals, but also the language, music, picture, the body languages and facial expressions. When it comes to the field of linguistics, the introduction of memetics into the study field of language development provided scholars with the possibility and feasibility over the study of the generational principle of netspeak, the propagational law, as well as the spreading tendency and the affectional ability of this newly originated information spreading media that closely related to the daily life of people. It also makes it possible for the theoretical study and practical guidance over the netspeak sociologically and systematically. With the assistance of which, the developmental tendency of cultural pluralism will be defended, the lateral and longitudinal development of it will be strengthened. As a newly formed language variety, netspeak had a close relationship with memetics. During the communication among internet users, memes of netspeak survived and further spread with furious competitions within the realms of memetics. These all led to the study of memes and English netspeak, different researching views from different linguistics mentioned in the previous paragraph paved the way of English netspeak research for the further study of it. However, there is little theses or treatises with a specific study on the generating and spreading principles of English netspeak with replication and parody as its theoretical basis.
