The Research On Consistency Experience Design Based On Android Platform

According to the competitive pressure coming from the operating systemdevelopment of intelligent mobile device, the success of a mobile product will largelydepend on the constant improvement of user experience. Openness brings a lot to theAndroid OS, not only the great success but also the corresponding risks and problems. Inorder to constantly refine the user experience on the Android platform, the consistencyissue becomes increasingly important. However, Due to the failure in making thespecific consistency of the UI design criterion for the Android, Google leads to a messwith more and more application development involved in.This dissertation focuses on the point that the consistency experience design playsan important role in platform products，which is a blank space in the interface design andthe interactive mode of the current Android platform. By summarizing some conclusionsof the platform characteristics from daily projects and researches，it tentatively brings upsome ideas and methods about the consistency experience design based on Androidplatform in order to use these ideas and methods to guide the relevant Android platformapplications design, which is, apparently, the starting point of this dissertation.The research, subjected to the consistency experience design based on Androidplatform, analyzes the concept and dimension of consistency. With the help of theory incognitive psychology, it obtains the values and meanings of consistency research.Meanwhile, the dissertation elicits the concept of the consistency of user experience inthe Android platform design by analyzing the consistency in the existing graphicaldesign of some applications. On the basis of full understanding of the platform, thedissertation brings up two key points, the research on interface elements consistencyexperience design and the research on interactive mode consistency experience design.Based on the research of the concept, content, the type of design patterns and therelationship between human behavior patterns and design patterns, the dissertationapplies design method adopted in web design to the research of the consistency in theAndroid user experience. In the following design practices, this method will be adoptedin the ZTE Friend-Link project. Through the conclusion focusing on the consistency ofuser experience, the iterative design of Friend-Link, its usability testing result as well asthe expert evaluation, the final design is completed with a great success in proving thevalidity and the credibility of my conclusion.
