Research On Modern Christian Economic Sources Of The Missionary Work In Northeast China(1867-1931)

This paper focus on the research of the economic source of Christian missionaries’establish in the northeastern region after the Second Opium War,including healthcare,education,culture,missionary,and YMCA,etc.The economic sources of the Christianmissionary is the mainly study of the paper, in addition,the paper introduces theeconomic sources and characteristics of the different stages of Christianity,and the socialimpact of the Christian education career’s in northeast China.The paper contains four parts.The first part focus on the spreading process and the missionary achievements of thethe Christian missionary in northeastern region. Christianity has experienced three stagesof development:the start-up,set back and development in northeast China,with variousdifficulties of economic sources.The second part mainly introduces the major economic sources of the NortheastChristian missionary. Different spreading process has different manifestations,the churchof the mother country,country donors,the Christian entrepreneur as well as the churchmedical career business together, supporting the large Christian missionary.The third part analysis the characteristics of the economic sources of the NortheastChristian missionary.With the in-depth development and thrive of the Christianity in theNortheast region,the sources of economic support of Christian missionary appeared newchanges,especially domestic Christians and local governments played a very importantrole in the further development of the Christian,the Christian localization became anirreversible trend.
