Comprehensive Interpretation To XuanNiao During All Previous Dynasties

In this paper, the "XuanNiao" comprehensive interpretation ("XuanNiao" as the core focus in the article of "XuanNiao") is based on respect of previous research, which is surrounded by the original meaning of XuanNiao and the interpretation of "XuanNiao giving birth to Shang", and is divided into two chapters by the different key points.XuanNiao is said by the swallow which is the core view in the first chapter, including every periods from the pre-qin to the qing dynasty. Although XuanNiao is said by the swallow, there are much slightly difference in all previous dynasties.This chapter focuses on the "XuanNiao" comprehensive interpretation, to make the readers know the original meaning and the interpretation of "XuanNiao giving birth to Shang" systematically and the change of interpretation in past dynasties XuanNiao is referred to swallow from the earliest Pre-Qin myth and history books; XuanNiao is described as a migratory bird that swallows during Han Dynasty; In Tang Dynasty, the scientists is beginning to research the word "xuan" which is the meaning of "black", and swallow feathers are black, so that the swallow is said by XuanNiao. Later, this explanation is recognized by scientists in other dynasties. The myth of "XuanNiao giving birth to Shang" is gradually completed with the passage of time.Then, the different interpretation of "XuanNiao giving birth to Shang" mainly has four kinds which are "Mao Zhuan","Zheng Jian","Kong Shu","Zhu Zhuan".The four statements have always co-existed after the Song Dynasty, and was extended appropriately, but the basic will is not from the above four kinds of explanations.The second chapter is mainly to the diversity of interpretation of "XuanNiao", related to the modern and contemporary scholars to study "XuanNiao". During this period, due to the influence of "inter disciplinary, cross time, cross regional", scholars have diversified interpretation of "XuanNiao" so as phoenix, swallow, crow, rooster by the research methods in the field of history, anthropology and so on. And on the "XuanNiao giving birth to Shang" interpretation, most scholars adopted the view of "Zheng Jian", thus it appeared the diversity interpretation of "XuanNiao".Comparing the interpretation of "XuanNiao"by ancient with modern scholars, we can found that the ancient have the research based on the view of argumentation, modern scholars by Western totem notion. This paper is based on the understanding of the history of sympathy to the attitude of the "XuanNiao" and make effort to have an careful combing and analysis.
