Qiong opera which have a long history is the most important cultural symbol and thespirit reflected of Hainan. This paper examines the forming time, origin and history of Hainanopera. In the formation process of Qiong opera, it has been influenced by religion, Chineseopera, and Hainan music. Especially, Taoism influences Qiong opera very deeply andstrongly.Yiyang qiang influences Qiong opera in the way of singing.<Encyclopedia ofChina·Chinese Opera>considers the way of singing of Qiong opera origins from Yiyangqiang.Hainan Bayin means the music which plays by eight of the most popular local musicalinstruments—Xian、Qin、Di、Guan、Xiao、Luo、Gu and Ba.The way of play of Hainan Bayininfluences Qiong opera deeply.In the base of Hainan Bayin, Qiong opera are divided toWenpai and Wupai.Wenpai use sorchestral instruments mainly.Wupai uses percussioninstruments mainly.Qiong opera matures in Kangxi and Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty which it has beensinging in Hainan dialect. With the instroduction of Yue opera and the way of singing ofBangHuang,Qiong opera have transformed into plate type structure and its spring is coming.With the development of International Tourism Island, Revitalization of Qiong opera hasbecome an important issue. Qiong opera only adapted to the requirement of era development,and continuously reform and innovation, it will once again usher in prosperity in the new era!...
