The Textural Research Of Suiyuan Women Disciples

It is indisputable that feminine literature in Qing Dynasty was in quite a flourish. The influence of women poets can not be ignored, especially for Suiyuan women disciples. They made great contribution to the development of feminine literature in the Qian-jia periods. Due to the great influence of Yuan Mei, Suiyuan women disciples got a lot of attention as well. The research of them will help reveal the general status of female creation group in that period. This article will analyze the members in the group, the reason and the performance, based on documents and literature. It will provide some new understanding.First of all, in Chapter I, I reinvestigate the situation of Suiyuan women disciples, point out the mistakes made by Jiang Dunfu by textual research, recheck the name list to make a certain result to conjecture about the real scale of the group, then find out the internal connection between Yuan Mei and Suiyuan women disciples. Secondly, in part one of Chapter II, we find the basis of Yuan Mei’s female view from his female view and personal experiences, reconsider his poetics and his words and actions and make the conclusion that there is no necessary connection between his female view and soul performance and he recruited many women disciples because of his characteristic, such as talent-cherishing, homy, etc. Then in part two, I focus on the literature spaces of the women disciples, describe the performance of their education、 association and their perspectives to prove they have positivity and pro-activity in the learning. At last, in Chapter Ⅲ, according to the research of Poems of Suiyuan Women Disciples and13Female Disciples Serve Apprenticeship in Lake-building, I figure out that the pursuit of romance was the start point of their literature creation and association. The phenomenon of Suiyuan women disciples is a product of that time.
