The paper is aimed at both the characteristics of exploration which presented to Zi Huang’s " New nationalization music " composition techniques and its influence to his follower Zi Huang is one of the foremost composers in the history of Chinese modern and comtemporary music, he once been to America and studied in not only conservatory of Oberiinbut also music school of Yale Umversityand master the professional Euramerican comtemporary composing technique. After he came back to China, he estabilish himself in individual and localization composition. In the perspective of his composing and practicing history, his exploration in technique of composing is maninly embodied in three fields:the exploration of pentatonic music, combination of tune and lyric and the application of polyphoniclinear pattern. The essence of his efforts is to achieve the ideal of " New nationalization music " through his creation and practice and it will be discussed in in first, second and third chapter of my paper. In the conclusion pary of the paper, it will discuss the retention and innovation from the follower of Zi Huang. In this paper, the writer will attempt to proceed with Zi Huang’s creative practice and then exam the creation by the theory of harmonic and polyphonic combined with using existed historial material to do the research.
