| By practising Six Suites for Unaccompanied Violoncello by J. S. Bach on saxophone can improve technique on classical saxophone playing effectively. Because this suite has its unique "multifunctional" characteristic. It offers a effective enhancement which covers from the fundamental technique for saxophone, to the music expression and musicianship development as well for the classical saxophone player. A detailed analysis will be taken in this dissertation, combined with typical phrases. It is hoped that this dissertation can play a role in inspiration and enlightenment in terms of playing Bach on saxophone as well as classical saxophone playing. |
