The History Of Western Chamber Choir And Its Effects On China Chorus

In this paper, we summarize the impact and enlightenment of western chamber choir onthe development of Chinese chorus through studying the history of western chamber choir.This thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter gives a brief introduction onconception and its features through quoting chamber choir. The second chapter includes thesefollowing periods: they are the Middle Ages period, Renaissance period, Baroque period,Classical Period, Romantic period. From Twentieth century to the beginning of this centurygive an brief introduction on the different forms from the history of western chamber choir,and then make comments on the development of modern western chamber choir, the thirdchapter includes these following period: they are old school songs period, Before theestablished60years period, after the founding of new China period, after reforms period, andthe period of after the establishment of choral Association in this century. They narrated theHistory of China Chorus and the initial introduction of the concept of Western Chamber Choir.The fourth chapter analyzes the Western Chamber Choir from Concert scale, Concert skills,Works’ processing, Paradigm shift and music tracks, in order to enlighten China Choir. Finally,this thesis looks forward to the prospect of development of chamber choir in the future.In order to develop and improve chorus music culture in our country and make it be inline with the world, we need to learn from western chamber choir which is more elegant,meticulous and precise. We need to master foreign advanced methods and find out our gapwith them, so as to make a new and large breakthrough in Chinese chorus.
