Demonstrative pronoun "this" and "that" play a key role in thepronominal anaphora in Chinese. These two demonstrative pronouns can notonly demonstrates other element in the chapters, but also can takeposition of conjunction. There are many study on these two demonstrativepronoun. The study of these two words focus on finding origins and thesyntactic constituent which they took in a sentence in the past severaldecades. With the deepening of pragmatics, numbers of scholarsconcentrate their study on function and cognitive of these two words.Separate the sentences which include these two words, and discuss eachpartition and calculate the percentages of this and that. Millions oflinguistic data has been analyzed by scholars. But their researches arestatic state and linear, few of them set foot in dynamic study.In this paper, we base on the pre-research of these scholars, and putthese conclusions to use on my own linguistic data. According to theantecedents whether or not appear in the chapters; we regard the anaphoraas direct anaphora and indirect anaphora. And on the basis of thecharacteristic or property of a certain word, we regard the anaphora asnominal anaphora, verbal anaphora and sentence anaphora. Using the modelof game to analysis these situation of demonstrative pronoun anaphora.While the speaker’s strategy, permutation of every elements in sentence,hearer’s translation and confirming at last reach the balance point atsame time, the benefit of communication will be maximum value. And we alsodiscuss how to get this balance.In summary, in this paper, we combine traditional theory and modelof game together, discuss the anaphora of demonstrative pronoun "this"and "that". Give some advice to communication in the final.
