Children Report Literature began to rise since the1980’s, and has already become thenoticeable approach of literary by now. On the one hand, many writers started creating theirworks in the field. On the other hand, lots of theory researchers also began to pay closeattention to this literary phenomenon within the specific time. The greatest achievement wasthe theme of growth in the vast works of Children Report Literature. It is not only decided bythe inherent immutability of theme of growth, but also decided by characteristic ofChildren Report Literature, which including the sense of mission that came from reflect andpay attention to children’ life, the property of report that thinking and analyzing children live,the literary nature that highlighting and expressing characteristics of children and so on.This paper selected "The growth puzzles" as the point, and based on the report worksthat about theme of children growth in the1980s. It was consist of introduction, the status ofchild development in predicament, breaking out of growth puzzles, narrative strategy underthe theme of growth and conclusion. On the premise of sorting out the latest research results,we trying to further study the theme of children growth.Introduction was composed of the significance of subject, the research status and theinnovation points. The first chapter has been divided into two sections, which selected severalcategories of problem child that grow up under double pressures of the impact of new marketeconomy and the lack of educational systems means, mainly described several types ofproblem child that lack of parental and the common trouble suffered in their growth.The second chapter, which was also categorized into two sections, mainly discuss theconfused children try to accomplish growth and mature their mind step by step through thedefend personality, youth rebellious, exploration of puppy love and suffering experience. Thethird chapter, which is categorized into the diversity of narrative perspective, the simplicity ofnarrative structure and the popularity of narrative language, mainly research the particularityof Children Report Literature when expressing the growth subject from the angle of narrativestrategy. Conclusion makes a generalization of the whole paper that based on the summary ofthis period. And we believe that will emerge much more outstanding works about the themeof growth in Children Report Literature, and call for more researchers turn their attention tothis topic.
