The particles in Tibetan are mainly functioning as the conjunction between words, to consist a complete sentence with a meaning. A communicable sentence could not be composed without any particles, consequently, the particles in Tibetan are playing a significant role in completing sentences. Further more, it is also crucially important in rhetorical compositions, in terms of fluency and demarcation of the sentences as well. Concerning the extreme important role of the particles in Tibetan, with considerable value of academic research, I chose to analyze the rhetorical function of particles in Tibetan.The paper is consisted of four chapters, with a conclusion. In the first chapter, it analyzed the rhetorical function of various particles, including the particles of La equivalents, genitive particles, the particles of nas and las. In the second chapter, it analyzed the rhetorical function of particles, which are not included within the eight classical grammatical cases, Namye(rnam dbye). In the third chapter, it analyzed the rhetorical functions of particles, which infers questioning, commanding, and admiring. Within the final chapter, it only focused on the functions of the particle, Ne(nas), and analyzed in detail. In short, the paper analyzed the every angle of rhetorical functions of the particles in Tibetan.
