Digital has changed the social life of human beings. Entering the21st century, with thedigital technology and the new media continues to promote, today’s society has undergoneenormous changes. The digital era is an era of rapid expansion, is an informationcommunication era. In this era, Display Design ushered in a very profound digital revolution.And changed in the way of people’s exchange information makes the way of display haschanged in the display process. Display Form as the communication link between audienceand display information, its importance is particularly evident. Today, the digital revolution ofDisplay Design has directly contributed to the development and progress of the DigitalDisplay Form.The theme of this paper is the Digital Form in the display environment, by studying thetheory of Digital Display Design, starting from the communication theory point of view tointroduce the concept of the Digital Form and elaborate the digital causes of the Display Formand the development status of the Digital Form. Under this basis of this study, more in-depthstudying of communication of the Digital Form in the display environment. Full-textcollection, lists a large number of typical cases as arguments to research, this researchincludes two aspects. First is the body study of the Digital Form that is starting from theperspective of the display form communication to analysis the affects the communication ofDigital Form on the basic elements, the communication way, the communicationcharacteristics and so on. And focus on the communication of Digital Form’s the specifictypes that is the type on digital display item, the type on video performances, the type onexperience display, the type on interactive display. Second is the object study of the DigitalForm that is starting from the perspective of the Theory of Audience-Centered to research thecommunication space of the Digital Form and the audience activity in its communicationspace, and clearly illustrating the relationship between the display environment and theDigital Form and the its communication space. At the same time, combining with the typicalcases which is the Display Design of Expo2010in Shanghai China as this research’s proofand debate, and clearly the research of this paper’s main points.For research of the communication of the Digital Form in the display environment, thatis a studying between people, exhibits and environment, has far-reaching significance for thefuture research on the Digital Display Design.
