In recent years, people’s achievements of cognitive linguistics is very rich. At thesame time, the word "iconicity" gradually came into the field of language education’sresearch. Many front-line teachers have said many times,“iconicity theory " not onlyis helpful to the cognition and research of specific language, and enlighten to thesecond language teaching that teachers can open up a new teaching idea. Within thefield of Chinese ontology research, many scholars found that Chinese characters, theformation of Chinese words, Chinese grammar have varying degrees’ phenomenon oficonicity. The corresponding research about “how to use the theory of iconicity inChinese teaching class “started early, and its important value has been proved inteaching experiments. Foreign students Chinese grammar course is intended to be thefoundation part to enable students to master Chinese output capacity. So it was paidhigh attention in professional practice research. This paper attempts to further developthe advantages of "iconicity" has the advantages of conforming to cognitive thinkinglaw,put “iconicity” into use of primary grammar’s teaching,regard some grammaritems with obvious iconic features as the teaching content..in order to outline theiconicity as teaching content features obvious grammar items.Under the guidance ofthis theory,then we evaluated and collected feedbacks about the effect of iconicteaching strategies,in order to confirm its precious value in primary grammar class.This article consists of six parts.The part of Introduction introduces some relevant research results about"iconicity" at home and abroad and suggests research purpose and value.Chapter one presents some thoughts about facts and weak points of primaryChinese grammar class.Chapter two introduces the feasibility of the theory of iconicity in primarygrammar practical field. From exploring iconicity reflections in Chinese words’ order,we migrated them into four teaching steps of some grammar points,includingpresentation,interpretation,practice sessions and feedback.Then explained with detailsand examples.Chapter three explains some reflections about three main principles of iconicity in primary Chinese grammar outline elaborately in order to supply and illustrate theapplication value of the theory in grammar class.This part also introduces primarygrammar teaching methods based on the theory of Iconicity.Chapter four evaluates and analyses the application effect of iconicity theory.Then takes comparison by immediate tests and review assessment respectively in theexperimental group and the control group.Then some difficulties which appeared inthe practical teaching experience are introduced with analysis points.The last chapter is epilogue.
