Ba Jin and Natsume Soseki as representative writers of Chinese and Japanesemodern literature. They play important roles in the modern literary history of China andJapan. Their literary creations reflect the social outlook of the Chinese and Japaneseprofoundly. Marriage life as the most important component of human social life, but alsothe important topic of literary creations. Natsume Soseki and Ba Jin’s novels bydescribing the marriage life and the marriage concept of a period of social change, toshow that the period of social change affect on marriage life and the marriage conceptchanges on the role of social development. This article by the in-depth analysis of thenovels of Natsume Soseki and Ba Jin, compare the different social, historical, andcultural context marriage concept in the novels of Natsume Soseki and Ba Jin. Thisarticle shows that in the early20th century the major changes in the thinking of peopleand these changes on people’s love and marriage life after experiencing uncivilized. Andexplain the reasons for these effects.This article is divided into four parts, they are: Projection in Natsume Soseki and BaJin’s novels in the view of modern marriage, to explore the different society NatsumeSoseki and Ba Jin’s novels under the subject of marriage and love, changes in the statusof women in marriage change and Natsume Soseki marriage concept macros. ByNatsume Soseki and Ba Jin two writers, literary works, and explore the changes anddevelopment of the Sino-Japanese Modern marriage concept. The first part is mainlyelaborated modern civilization propagation process of development in China and Japan,the impact of the two peoples concept of marriage life. And these effects in NatsumeSoseki and in Ba Jin’s novels projection. Including two parts of modern education andmodern family lay disintegrating definition of basic and traditional family for the modernmarriage. Touched people’s thoughts and feelings, promote marriage life changes. Thesecond part is Ba Jin and Natsume Soseki’s novels in different social theme ofmarriage.This part of the concentrated expression of the same literary theme, thedifferences reflect the different social and historical environment. Which is mainly manifested in the creation of Natsume Soseki group of intellectuals in the marriage lifesocial change in the face of confusion and changes in the concept of marriage, acomprehensive display of the main highlights of Natsume Soseki "self-centered" thinking.Chinese writer Ba Jin’s creation reflects the beginning of the20th century, in theturbulent times of national distress, the young people for marriage life new choice.Including the pursuit of the old system, the old concepts of denial and resistance, as wellas on the freedom of an ideal marriage life.
