Merleau Ponty (Maurice Merleau Ponty,1908-1961), the famous French modernphilosophers, ideologist, outstanding deputy of the French existentialism. His bodyphilosophy overstep the traditional dualism philosophy and ideologist philosophy.Hisopinion is based on the body and regard morality as humanity. His humanitarianideology is his moral theory. Marx regarded object,reality, sencation as the perceptualactivity. That is the foundation of the transformation of Marx’s pholosophy. Marxbelieved that moral factors is included in human perceptual activity. Capitalismalienated labor is included immorality factors. Only in communist society can realizethe pure moral life. He also believed Communism as "the Completion ofHumanitarianism ".So on the moral issues, Merleau Ponty ’s point of view can becompared with Marx’s directly. To a certain degree, Merleau Ponty’s body philosophywhich is based on understanding of morality enriched and developmented the opinionof Marx’s ethics.Evaluating Merleau Ponty’s moral thinking in the horizon of Marx emotionalactivities, we found that he enriched Marx moral thinking in the one hand, in anotherhand, his thinking had limitations.The aim of this comparative analysis is to promotethe Marxist philosophy more globalism and internationalism.The paper describes the following three parts.:First, it analysises how does Marxunderstand moral from the emotional point. First of all, Marx critiques andinheritances Kant’s moral thinking, draws that moral is the essential of perceptualactivity. Then, further analysis that alienation of labor is an immoral phenomenon in acertain stage of the development of productive forces. In the last, come to theconclusion that only on the basis of highly developed productive forces sublation ofprivate property can be achieved Communist morality. In the second part, detailedanalysis Maurice Merleau-Ponty’s development of Marx’s moral thinking. It includesthe main content of Merleau Ponty’s moral thinking and the development of Marxismmoral. In the third part, it takes an objective evaluation on the limitations of MauriceMerleau Ponty’s moral thinkings.
