In the early stage of individual development, an infant’s motor development has a very important impact on its understanding things with people, exploring the environment. Therefore, how to identify the development level of the infants has become one of the important issues of the International Developmental Psychology. In our country, the survey scale tables was developed by Pro. Li Huitong et al30years ago, is still in usage, but the norm in these tables has been outdated today. This thesis has developed a new action development checklist of infants aged1-3to measure and check their motor development levels and stages accurately. And this thesis make a further exploration on what factors are affecting the action development.Questionnaires, interviews and case analysis are used to get the chronology in this study. The checklist is self-developed and issued in the above-the-county-level cities Shanxi with a total of292, among which236is taken back, and then get the chronology. The interview is depended on the interview outline and conducted on semi-open interviews. The outline contains a total of16topics and four babies’parents are selected to receive my interview. Tracking objects for the case are four infants,2males and2females. The use of interviews and case studies,in order to analyze and discuss the influencing factors.The conclusions of the study are the following:(1) Self-developed detection table of the motor development of the infants aged1-3. The content includes two major sections:gross motor and fine motor, referring to Appendix3for complete detection table.(2) The motor development chronology for infants aged1-3above-the-county-level cities in Shanxi Province, including gross motor and fine motor, referring to Table4.1and Table4.3for the specific action items.(3) Foundings compared with more than30years ago:16items (34.8%) are generally the same. These movements mainly are walking,running, pouring;20items(43.5%) are brought forward. These movements mainly are climbing, standing at one foot, building and placing, drawing;7items (21.7%)are fallen behind.These movements mainly are casting, picking pinch, holding and taking.(4) The main factors affecting the action development of infants:genetic and maturity; nurturer’s character, nurturer’s parenting concepts and their training; Objective material environment of a family.
