In this paper, the research subject. is the royal family of Northern Wei Dynasty.Explore the historical process of the evolution of the royal family of the Northern Wei Dynasty in the interaction between the royal and imperial power, as well as the impact of the development of Chinese history. The first chapter discusses the formation of the royal family of the Northern Wei Dynasty, the establishment of the throne inheritance system and the structure and function of the royal family. Born out of the nomadic tribes,Xianbei Tuoba went into the civilization threshold.with residual tradition of the clan system. Inherited the cause of his forfathers, the emperor DaoWu himself was ambicious and extraordinary and reconstructed the Dai country formerly ruined by the regime of Qianqing, then named the capital and became the emperor which made the Tuoba jumped from an ordinary clan to the royal family based on the jurisprudence. The Tuoba’s Throne inheretance was deeply affected by tribal traditions. In order to redress the wrongs,Emperor DaoWu forcefully discreted tribal forces, implemented the system of the death of the inherited child’s mother, eliminated the threatening influence to the system of the throne heritage and ensured the succession to the throne based on the law and controlling of the throne by the emperor himself strictly. The Tuoba’s throne Inheritance finally get rid of the influence of tribal traditions through the successive efforts of Mingyuan and Taiwu emperors, the throne was firmly controlled by Taowu’s descendents. Royal distinguished itself from other clans which had its own unique attributes.Major departure in chapter2is from the biological point of view to study the evolution of royal blood. The evolution of the lineage is achieved through the changes in the marriage. The statistical analysis of the changes of Tuoba’s and non-Tuoba royal’s marital relationship show that the descent of the royal changed from the hybrid of Hoo and Hoo to that of Hu and Han gradually after the Northern Wei royalty mastered the Central Plain. Descent changes caused the change of the national body which will bring a change of identity. An objective result caused by the evolution of the descent showed that the body of members of the royal family absorbed the blood of Han’s menbers which made the fusion of Hu’s and Han’s blood and a combination of two natioans.Chatper3’s study is the evolution of ehtos of the royal family investigated through three angles. It pointed out that royal’s national tradition of advocating militancy in the Northern Wei Dynasty was formed and continued in the specific conditions; the royal tending cutivated subscribed to the needs of its own era, which on one hand could conducive to improving the quality of royal operation of imperial power and on the other hand inproved the level of integration with Han building Hu’s noble group; royal trending a luxury life was the internal rwason to its loss of imperial power.Royal’s luxury led the imbalance of the social structure of the Northern Wei Dynasty, extreme waste of social wealth, and more importantly, destroyed the royal’s ethos which made royal unable to cope with challenge from outside and lost the manipulative ability of imperial power.Starting from the point of view of imperial power, chapter4is due to investigate the relationship between the royal throne inheritance system and imperial power operation;between evolution of royal blood and imperial power operation;between evolution of the royal’s ethos and operation of the imperial power. Pointed out:out of the healthy functioning of the needs of the imperial power, the royal of the Northern Wei Dynasty changed descent from the "Hoo Hoo fusion" toward "Hu and Han fusion" and became more literal than advocating militance, which in itself is no fault. The royal moved towards the extravagance and corruption and were unable to carry imperial power, and eventually abandoned by the imperial power, which is the internal reasons of the declining of the Northern Wei Dynasty. The descent and cultural fusion of the royal of the Northern Wei dynasty with Han nationality laid the foundation for the opening of the Sui and Tang dynasties flourishing and priveided fresh blood for the Chinese nation uprising. Since then, the history of China had entered a new stage of development.
