Linear And Line Righteousness The Pattern Research Of Shaanxi Folk Taketo Knitting

Art of knitting began at the early stage of primitive society and it develops better andbetter until now. The art is widely distributed in the world, so knitting art in Southern Shaanxiis only a small branch. A lot of knitting works are made in Southern Shaanxi, which typicallyreflect the culture of the local area. This thesis analyzes the language characteristics ofdescriptive statement about the bamboo knitting works in Southern Shaanxi. Also it exploresthe art, culture and design values of the schema of these knitting works in a theoretical way.On the basis of linear theory, this thesis aims at analyzing the visual effects of the typicalworks from a three-dimensional perspective. Also the thesis attaches great importance to itsenlightenment to the modern arts. As for the essence of the thesis, the author endeavors atobserving and reading the characteristics of the lines and designs and tries to compile theminto modern schema language. On the one hand, the thesis seeks the feasibility of thedesigns of the knitting works. On the other hand, the thesis demonstrates the relevancybetween the schema of knitting works in Southern Shaanxi and modern knitting arts. All in all,the author aims at seeking a new practical thought for the combination of folk art and modernart.
