From The Cultural Consciousness And Cultural Self-confidence To Cultural Power

Culture is the nation’s blood and the spiritual home of the people. Since the reform and opening up, the party is exploring the cultural innovation on the basis of inheriting culture construction theory, from the "spiritual civilization","the three represents", and "raising cultural soft power "to" cultural strategy. Especially the party’s seventh session of the Sixth Plenary Session proposed to "unswervingly taking the path of development of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics, strive to build a power of socialist culture", and raised it to the height of the national culture construction strategic thought, once again raised the new boom to research the party’s culture construction in the domestic theoretical. This paper reviewed the theory exploration process in the cultural construction of our party, revealed evolution rules "from cultural consciousness and cultural self-confidence to power", analyzed the basic experience and the important enlightenment, in order to be able to provide some useful reference to the construction of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics.The full text is divided into three parts. Part one:Interpreted the concept of cultural theories of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and to provide a theoretical basis for the study of the cultural construction. The second part:reviewed the theory exploration process in the cultural construction of our party since the reform and opening up, from the perspective of cultural consciousness, cultural confidence and cultural power, according to the time sequence, clarified the evolution and development rules of our party in the cultural construction. The third part:summarized the basic experience and important enlightenment of the culture development of socialist with Chinese characteristics, to explain that the path of development of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics is the only way of building a socialist cultural power.
