The Artistic Characteristics And Singing Analysis Of Aria "Stizzoso Mio Stizzoso"

The appearance of comic opera of the18th century injected a wisp of new sunshine into the development of serious and old-fashioned European opera seria. In the course of comic opera’s development, twp-act opera "la serva padrona" composed by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi is called the classic masterpiece of comic opera. In the article, the author, from the angel on a singer, points out his own ideas about how to better express the work through studying materials, analyzing and comparing the creating background, musical structure, piano accompaniment and singing of the classic aria "Stizzoso mio stizzoso" of "la serva padrona" as well as combining the experience and summary of singing the opera. The author argues that although the opera "la serva padrona" is short with the play length of less than50minutes, it has rich musical motives, vivid plot and a strong flavor of life. As there are only a few people have studied the song, the author analyzed and summarized "Stizzoso mio stizzoso", hoping that it will play a role of spur, and provide relatively detailed references to the future singers who are ready to sing the song.
