A Study On The History Of The Yangzhou’s Music Culture Of Guqin

Yangzhou’s qin music is of long standing,Guanglin school as the most important school of the Guqin’s schools,was born in Qin dynasty.As the special geographical position and the incomplete coincidence between administrative region and culture region, Yangzhou’s culture embodies multiplicity that mingle classic with popular, literator culture with civilian culture, ideological culture with concrete culture, consumer culture with creative culture. Yangzhou’s Guqin schools were effected by culture region.It’s Qin music characteristic manifests changeable, unconstrained, combination of inflexibility and yielding. The Qin music culture includes both tradition and innovation.Based on Yangzhou’s culture background and Qin player,the present study is trying to do research on the particularity of the Guqin music culture and reasons.The present study falls into three parts, focusing on several topics like the formation of the music culture of Yangzhou Guqin, performers, composition,scores, ideas and the characteristics of Guqin music. The first chapter is going to study the nature and the formation of the music culture of Yangzhou Guqin and the tradition of Guqin music.The second chapter will focus on the performers. In this chapter, I’ll try to explain the inner impulse of the development of Guqin music through studying Yangzhou performers throughout the ages.The third chapter will do research on the compositions and scores of Yangzhou Guqin, and is trying to explain the status of development of Guqin music under the cultural background of Yanzhou. The conclusion part is going to summarize the former three chapters and will explain that the music culture of Guqin is the embodiment of regional culture of Yangzhou through studying the formation and the characteristics of the music culture of Yangzhou Guqin.
