The Flute Works Of Chinese From The Boehm Flute The Experience To Participate In New Shanghai Ensemble

It has been more than a hundred years since the western concert flute first made its appearance in China. During this time, the number of fine flute players has increased significantly in this country. Thus, repertoire with Chinese characteristics has began to appear on the nationals and international stages. For example,<Meditation> composed by He Lvting in1937, was among the first of these pieces to be performed by the concert flute. Through experience, communication, and extended studies of various sources of information the writer has written this paper which covers the topics of " The development of the western flute in china and representative works written","Styles and applications of Chinese Works", and "Performance techniques of Chinese works." The writers hopes that Chinese works for the flute will gain more national and International acknowledgment.
