The Study Of Contemporary Dominant Value In Chinese Society

With the thinking about practical theory of Marxist philosophy in China, we beginto discuss the problems on value, and valuable philosophy plays a important role in thedevelopment of Marxist philosophy. Understanding the valuable philosophy deeply isnot only the main link of learning and knowing Marxist philosophy, but also our realneed to explore the construction on Chinese socialism and the centre valuable systemwith Chinese characteristics. Just on the basis of these theoretical and practical demands,this thesis analysises the meanings and significances of value and value confliction,explicits the philosophical meaning of value, the deep causes of value confliction basedon the thinking about the status of Chinese development nowadays. The appearance ofvalue confliction has its own substantial reason and realistic background. Meanwhileaccording to the manifestations of the value confliction and the substantial cause, weknow the necessity and important significance on constructing the dominant value, thenknow the concept and meaning of the dominant value.This thesis mainly study the contemporary dominant value in Chinese society. Ithas three parts：the first part summarizes the philosophical meaning of dominant value，then explains and distinguishes the value, the values and the dominant value; the secondpart mainly expounds the value confliction in contemporary Chinese society, thensummarizes the meanning and essence of value confliction, analyses the deep reason ofthe apperence of value confliction, and grasps its representations precisely; the last partdiscusses the main principles and ways of constructing the contemporary dominantvalue in Chinese society to provide the realistic basis for the guidance of the practice.The dominant value is our necessary choose when we face the globalization andthe modernization, and it is the important measure when we catch the chance of socialtransformation to achieve the development and prosperity of the culture. When we readthe spirit of the seventh session of the sixth plenary session, we understand theimportant status of the cultural construction. Meanwhile we realize that the productionof value confliction generally must have its deep social background and theoretical roots.To remove the negative effects of the value confliction, we must construct the dominantvalue of the socialism with Chinese characteristics, we must based on the reality, innovate ideas and propose necessary principles and ways, I hope this thesis can provideargument and practical significance on cultural construction of our country based on thestudy of this idea.
