This article discusses in the comparative cultural perspective and mainly use the theories and methods of Comparative Literature.The main contents are:exploring the spread of Christianity as a foreign culture in JinZhong, investigating the confliction and integration of Christianity and local-culture during propagation, examining and explaining the social and cultural reasons resulted these changes.The article is divided into five main parts.The first part is introduction.It Summarizes the130-year history of Christianity in JinZhong, combes academic research achievements about the JinZhong Area Christian, and pointes out that this article discusses in the comparative cultural perspective.The second part introduces the origin and the development of the Christianity in JinZhong Area, analyzes its characteristics of transmission. At the end of this chapter, this paper analyzes the process of adaption and a variety of methods that Christian faith strive to improve in order to integrate into the local culture.The third part combes historical facts of the confliction between Christianity and the JinZhong people in the Boxer and Non-Christianity Movement, and analyze the reasons of the outbreak of the confliction.Then, comparing differences between christian culture and local culture, this article concluded that the causes of Non-integration should attributed to the difference existed in the nature of cultures.The fourth part discusses the integration and adaption between the christian culture and local culture, the poem in GUSHENG, as an example.the.This part analyzes poetry form, poetry language, poetry content and poetry author from GUSHENG.The article points out, the purpose of poetry writing by Missionary was the propagation of christian faith.The poetry of christian is essentially a culture integration.The fifth part is the conclusion.lt points that the confliction and integration of Christian culture and local culture were the process of exchange and interaction.In order to adapt to local culture, Christian culture makes a variety of reforms, such as Christian doctrine, religious rules, missionary ways, poetry writing, charitable actions and so on.Althrough the local culture has been strongly exclusive to the christian culture, the number of christian shows a growing trend. This proved that the local culture, to a certain extent, accepted and recognized the Christian culture. |
