In the view of modern literature, research on the late Qing literature periodical isshowing a rising trend. On the one hand, the literature provides a paradigm for quite along period of literature, on the other hand the study of literary journals has catered toa certain view of literature research, this paper selects because of "The all-storymonthly" as the main object of study."The all-story monthly" was founded and developed gradually in the influence of"Novel Revolution", drew lessons from the writing style and subject content of themodern novel, and be influenced by the western modern literature deeply. In terms ofthe mode of the narrative, there are more innovation in the narrative time, narrativeperspective and narrative structure of "The all-story monthly", combined with thewriting style of the western modern and the mode of Chinese traditional literary, andhad the profound influence on the later creation of the novel.
