An Articulation Of Analysing And Investigating Of The Narrative Style Dance

Even though the narrative dance was not the creative trend, the narrative style dance has its own historical development trajectory. Additionally, it has rapidly developed in recent years in China, and has become a more popular dance creation pathway. The narrative dance has a unique structure and the choreographic skills to show the charm of the works, this article expounds the investigation of the narrative dance through a theoretical and practical approach:First of all, I try to clarify the theoretical basis and characteristics of narrative dance, mainly from the literary, television, films, music narration and the other different disciplines to explore the concept and rhetorical principles of nativities dance. Grasping its basic characteristics, combing narrative dance origin and development of the historical background, lays the foundation for follow-up investigation.Second, the Northeast Normal University will be used as the main research content to explore its unique narrative style and characteristics from the works which a historic and realistic subject matter, to grasp the basic characteristics of the university’s dance works creation.Finally, I will investigate the content of the award-winning works of Northeast Normal University in order to explore the narrative mode of structure, to focus on a work to find outstanding bright spot, to explore its remarkable creative process, the basic narrative structure and narrative works of dance choreography techniques to conduct a comprehensive analysis.
