The total proposition of poems of "Poems stating poets’ ambitions" has some rules on its writing contents and social functions. Once broken, the poems would be considered as the "bad poems", even "non-poetry". Besides the "Poems stating poets’ ambitions" mainstream, there exists some other phenomenon. Zhong Rong was against Qi Liang Parnassus especially Shen Yue et al according to the principle "enjoyable". He opposed to "sound disease" and "allusion" as the non-poetry factors that destructed "taste". Out of the disgust for that poetry has become the tool for moral education, Sikong Tu put forward "flavor beyond flavor" and "rhythm beyond rhythm" saying to show his opposition. Yan Yu opposed "the talent for poetry" and "argument for poetry" that Su Ying advocated, which was based on "prose poems" that was introduced by Han Yu before. The writer believes that "sound disease","allusion","prose poems","the talent for poetry","argument for poetry" last over a poem and there is something in common in the secrets of language.The arguments between poetry and non-poetry are mainly reflected in the following3phases since the emergence of the new poetry:the "old and new" dispute at the beginning of New Poetry and the poetic function dispute, misty dispute and after-misty dispute since the emergence of the new poetry. The main non-poetry factors in the three phases are free form, the vernacular language form, personalization and anglicization of writing content and method. The writer believes that these non-poetry factors generally belong to the content areas, not absolute boundaries of poetry and non-poetry. The reason why they lasted over poems is the mining of modern Chinese. The writer believes that the boundaries of poetry and non-poetry have two areas. One is that in ideal situations, poetic language needs to be completely in the true state of language, rather than considering what language form is the poetic language. The other is that the boundaries problem should be equal to the degree of self-referential symbol, or the degree of signifiant advantage, that is, the proportion problem between poetry and practicality. The true opposing non-poetry factors, which is contrasted with poetry,refer to the signifiant advantage factors. The languages that have invalid versification form, complete day-to-day of and no referential functions are not certain and concrete form. Poetry and non-poetry themselves are in a current status.
