| The object of study in this paper is the Double Bass Concerto Op.3of SergeyAlexandrovitch Koussevitzky (1874-1951). This paper consists of five chapters: abackground and his great contribution to music. With years of teaching andperforming experience in music field, the author would like to take Koussevitzky’srepresentative work the3rdmasterpiece《concerto of double bassists in e minor》toanalyze in a systematic way. The essay covered3chapters which including: Thecomposer’s background information and his works as well as the great contribution,feature and music ontology analysis of concerto, and the research of music workprocessing method together with its’ performance.Koussevitzky has created large amount of outstanding works of double bassists.the reason for his works that have been taking the main status in modern originaldouble bassists music is mainly due to its’ unique style, excellent performing skillsand unreachable artistic quality. This great reason made his work massively popularover the whole world. It is worthwhile for all the double bassists performers to studythe significant rhythm and its superior difficult skills in their lifetime performance. |
