Application Of Double-tone Technique On Cell

On March 19,1896,the Czech composer Dvorak and the British cellist Leo Stern’s Philharmonic Society performed the world premiere of the Cello Concerto in B Minor(Op.104)at The Queen’s Hall in London,conducted by Dvorak himself.and this premiere has been widely praised by cellists,conductors,composers and audiences.In this piece of music,we are fascinating with this composed melody,it make up from the largest number of double stop phrases and paragraphs,which makes the music very musical and plastic.For cellists,the double stops’ technique must be valued and mastered.This paper will discuss with the difficult performance which will include with double stop technology,we provide some practices with a kind of double stop methods for cellists.By the way,i make some suggestions on how to master diatonic transposition.Finally,we analyze the specific problems with combine the double stop fragment in "CELLO Concerto in B minor",.For the players,the skill of playing technology directly determines for the level of musical performance ability,so the cellist should gradually master the double stop technology through the gradual practices,to better show the excellent music works.
