The respondents in this investigation are clinicians of public hospitals in Hebei Provinceand Emotional Labor Scale,WLEIS一C and short scale of MSQ are adopted. The aims ofthis investigation are to understand the current status of emotion work, emotional intelligenceand work satisfaction of clinicians, explore the impact of demographic characteristics onwork satisfaction, reveal the correlation of emotion work, emotional intelligence and worksatisfaction, find out problems of work satisfaction and effecting factors, analyze thecountermeasures and method based on reality to integrate, provide more theoreticalfoundation and rationalization proposals for integrating emotion work, emotional intelligencewith the culture of hospitals and improving work satisfaction, and eventually improve themanagement level of human resource in hospitals. Findings are as follows:(1) The study suggest that the current work satisfaction score of clinicians of publichospitals in Hebei Province are73.71±10.60(the total are100). The de external satisfactionand internal satisfaction are29.09±4.82and44.62±6.42. Demographic variables includinggender, age, years of working, level of hospital, professional title, post, education background,marriage all affect the work satisfaction of clinicians.(2)The emotional labor adopted by the clinicians at work is often deep behavior strategy(4.51±1.02), while there is less surface behavior strategy(2.99±1.16). And the emotionallabor adopted by man clinician, young clinician, clinician whose eductaion backgrond isunder junior college and inofficious clinician at work is often surface behavior strategy.(3)The work total satisfaction, internal satisfaction and external satisfaction aresignificant positive correlation with deep behavior at the level of0.01; while they aresignificant negative correlation with surface behavior at the level of0.01.(4)The total satisfaction, internal satisfaction and external satisfaction are significantpositive correlation with the four-dimension of emotional intelligence at the level of0.01. (5) The four-dimension of emotional intelligence are significant positive correlationwith the deep behavior strategy of emotional labor at the level of0.01; they are significantnegative correlation with surface behavior strategy of emotional labor at the level of0.01.(6) The emotional intelligence of clinicians can predict the work satisfaction. Theemotional labor is the incomplete intermediary variable of emotional intelligence and worksatisfaction, it has partial intermediary effect.
