Synthetic biotech is an important emerging technology in the century of biology. Syntheticbiotech utilize chemical synthesis methods and gene law by designing, building, creating newbiological parts, devices, and systems, which does not exist in nature in order to solve problems and tomeet human needs. Through more thorough methods, synthetic biotech brought many newpossibilities to biology which will have amore extensive and profound impact on human being.As with other technologies, synthetic biotech will be accompanied by ethical controversies. First,synthetic biotech research includes the purpose of the human. Scientists conducting synthetic biotechresearch must containa variety of purposes, such purposes will bring consequences which need to beevaluated from ethical consideration. Second, synthetic biology applications range is wide. It isnecessary for research the scope of the synthetic biotech. Finally, we should discuss whether syntheticbiology will have adverse impact on the social, environmental and human, when it benefits.This thesis discusses synthetic biotech from the perspective of applied ethics. First of all, analyzeof the concept and content of synthetic biotech. Secondly, from the application of synthetic biotech,discuss the harm to the human body, ethical impact on biological nature and the essence of life,change the ecological balance and biodiversity, effect of economic equity and social ethics. The end,try to make a synthetic biotech ethical norms, including ethical principles and ethical assessment andmonitoring mechanisms.
